Bianca Ornelas is a self-taught illustrator, muralist and fine artist, from Pomona California. She became intrigued with the art of storytelling at a very young age- a fascination that has stuck with her well into adulthood. In 2013, out of hundreds of chalk artists, Ornelas won the category of “Best Use of Color” at the Pasadena Chalk Festival and again in 2017. Ornelas gathers inspiration from her Mexican roots, moody paintings, social issues, and her love for California. Ornelas continues to create pieces that provide a platform for conversation and encourages others to share their story.
